From the very start, I want to make sure the photographs of you and your family are exactly what you are after. I love to plan each and every session with my clients. Making sure the location and all other details suits your style.
I am going to tell you honestly, I’m not a photographer who stiffly poses people. I simply guide you into authentic moments with your loved ones. And the interactions unfold from there.
It is my goal to capture who you really are, together as a family, and how you interact. Whilst I will include a couple of images of everyone looking at me (if possible), that’s not the goal of the session. The objective during a session with me is to cover emotion and connection between you. Here are a few handy tips to get you thinking...
It's totally normal to feel a little nervous about having your photo taken - I've been there and completely understand! I promise I'll do everything in my power to help you feel at ease and look your best. You can expect to run around, let your hair down, and laugh a whole lot - & I'll take it from there!
Let your family know that it’s going to be fun. You don’t have to tell them to be good or that they must smile at the camera. Being relaxed and affectionate with your children will bring out their personalities.
Enjoy being close as possible. Touch each other, hold hands, cuddle and snuggle, tickle, make each other laugh and play with your kid's hair. It is my job to catch all the in-between moments you want to savor. I want to tell YOUR story through photographs.
